Pastor Cesar Castellanos and Claudia Castellanos
In 1983, God gave him the greatest revelation that changed his
life and ministry. The Lord said to him, “Dream, because
dreams are the language of my Spirit. The church you will be
shepherding will be as countless as the stars in the sky, or
as the sand by the seashore”. Pastor Cesar Castellanos
went on to found “Misión Carismática Internacional”
(MCI) in Bogota, Colombia, in March 1983, starting with only
eight people in his living room.
Pastor Cesar dared to believe God who said that if he would
work with his wife, he would have the world. God gave him the
rhema word in Genesis 12:2-3. Like Abraham of old, he believes
the Lord that he can become a father of multitudes. Today, MCI
has close to 40,000 cells. The revolutionary strategies that
the Lord revealed to him for the multiplication of His church
are widely known today as the G12 vision, or the Government
of Twelve.
The mission of Pastors Cesar and his wife Claudia is to fulfill
God’s command in Matthew 28:19 to “go and make disciples
of all nations…”. It is their desire that every
believer becomes a leader who will share the gospel of Jesus
Christ with the lost, and reproduce in them the character of
Jesus Christ.
Renowned pastors around the world have embraced the vision and
became part of the International Twelve of Pastor Cesar. They
serve together with Pastor Cesar in imparting the G12 vision
and making deep impact in the nations where God has given them
apostolic influences.
Apostle Lawrence Khong and Rev
(Dr) Nina Khong
Apostle Lawrence Khong is the Founding Senior Pastor of Faith
Community Baptist Church. Founded in 1986, FCBC has since grown
to become a 10,000-strong church committed to outreach, discipleship
and community service in Singapore. He was commissioned as an
Apostle by Dr Peter Wagner of the International Coalition of
Apostles in 2000. Widely acclaimed as an anointed speaker and
cell church pioneer, Apostle Lawrence has spoken in numerous
missions and cell conferences all over the world.
In 2002, he led FCBC to transit into the G12 vision which focuses
on helping every believer to become a father of multitudes.
He is one of the International Twelve of Pastor Cesar Castellanos,
Founder of the G12 movement, and is committed to bring the G12
vision to churches in Asia.
Apostle Lawrence is particularly passionate about reclaiming
the world of contemporary mass media in all its popular forms.
Reflecting this passion, he established Gateway Entertainment,
an independent entertainment production company. Through it,
he has produced many highly entertaining mega-magic productions
like ‘From Illusion to Reality’, ‘The Great
Escape’, ‘The Spook Show’, ‘An Evening
of Enchantment’, ‘Magic of Love’, and very
recently, ‘MAGICBOX’, which made a highly successful
run at Singapore’s renowned premier arts and entertainment
venue, The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The show not
only garnered moving accolades from the audience, it also brought
phenomenal reviews from critics within the media in Singapore.
Besides magic shows, Apostle Lawrence has also initiated other
programs to reclaim the media for God’s kingdom.
In late 2008, God once again spoke to Apostle Lawrence, preparing
him and his church to enter another phase of their calling.
This exciting and powerful new vision is a call to serve the
nations by effecting community transformation in Singapore and
gateway cities in Asia. In his immediate obedience to God, Apostle
Lawrence is now helming the LoveSingapore movement again, a
network of churches that desires to transform Singapore for
His glory.
Apostle Lawrence holds a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological
Seminary, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the
National University of Singapore. He and his wife, Rev (Dr)
Nina Khong, have four children – Priscilla, Michelle,
Anthony and Daniel, and a grandson, Isaac.
Rev (Dr) Nina Khong heads the Women’s Network in FCBC.
A medical doctor by training, Rev Nina left her practice as
a general practitioner to become a full time pastor and staff
at FCBC in 2002, spending much of her time growing the Women’s
Network and assisting Apostle Lawrence in the leadership of
the church, as well as the media ministry. At Gateway Entertainment,
she not only plays an integral role in its marketing and operations,
she is pivotal to the success of its magic shows, the latest
being the highly acclaimed MAGICBOX, where she was one of the
Executive Producers. |
