2005 International G12 Conference, Singapore

Many Countries, One Vision

A total of 28 countries were represented at this year's International G12 Conference. They are different in culture, language and in so many other ways, but united in their passion for the G12 Vision. Here are their thoughts on G12:

Brunei Darussalam -- Ps Peter Chin, Agape Fellowship.

"This is my first Conference. In January, God spoke to me about the importance of discipleship. I was searching for a discipleship model on the internet and came across the G12 vision. I was excited by news of the Conference and brought 20 of my church leaders. They were very touched by the Conference and cried. I was impacted by Ps Khong’s explanation of the three-generational blessing -- that we do not just birth spiritual children but father them to be fathers of the next generation. I want to bring this home to Brunei. My members tell me – You are our spiritual father, but who is your spiritual father? I desire to have a spiritual father too; I speak for senior pastors of many churches, who can we turn to for spiritual support?"

Ghana -- Pastor Nahum Mensah, Calvary Charismatic Centre.

"From this Conference, I find the concept of spiritual fathering and grandfathering most challenging. I don’t have a father in the faith, right now I relate to my senior pastor as a boss. As a spiritual father, I will need to be more involved than just training leaders, and we can't pretend to be what we are not, because our spiritual children will see it. If this Conference had been about methodology, I may have found it difficult to accept. But hearing the testimonies and the heart of the speakers, I understand the application better."

Hong Kong -- Rev Sam Lai, Fuk Lam Church.

"My church formally transitioned to G12 this year after three years of praying and communicating with our church leaders. With the former cell church model, we were stuck. It is necessary to go G12, and to participate in the vision for Asia. China, also, needs this model.

Senior Pastors need the covering and the support system that G12 can provide. I know greater anointing will be released and brought back to the individual churches. There will be a great movement taking place after this Conference."

India -- Dr George Cutty, Hope for Asia Bible College.

"I pray daily for every Asian nation for 35 years. I see so many nations here at the Conference. I find this Conference profoundly moving and very practical. I am in communication with many Indian pastors and I desire to share this Vision with them. I am asking God to raise leaders to take India for Jesus Christ."

Malaysia -- Rev Henry Liew, The Foursquare Gospel Church.

"A lot of questions in my mind were answered this year. I have also been convinced by Pastor Cesar's explanation of the G12 vision through Psalm 105."

Philippines -- Rev Jun Apura, Community of Praise Church.

"I pray that together with my colleagues from the Philippines, we will take back not just the understanding, but the revelation of the G12 vision."

Russian Federation -- Ps Yuri Ilchenko. Jesus Christ Church.

"We transitioned to G12 three years ago. Now we have 600 members. The Russian church is very young. Eastern Russia is nearer to Asia than to the capital of Russia. We see country as borders but God sees differently. This is a historical moment here at the Conference. We have shared with other pastors in our region who have seen our church double in size when we entered the Vision."

South Korea -- Rev Ryoo Young Mo, Han So Mang Community Church.

"This year's conference turned out to be ten times better than I expected! It’s a privilege to see many of Pastor Cesar’s International 12 gathered in Singapore. I felt the spirituality of the G12 and the exceptional anointing of the Holy Spirit through the conference."

Sense the deep excitement of the pastors representing these countries and pray for G12Asia, that together we will embark on world missions to take Asia for Jesus Christ.
