It seems like only yesterday that some 6,800 delegates turned up to attend this year’s International G12 Conference at The MAX Pavilion in Singapore Expo from 15-17 March.

Befitting the theme ‘Light to the Nations’, this year’s conference was the biggest to date, with delegates coming from 23 countries including Singapore. Indeed, God is preparing to launch His people into the nations, and to use them mightily to light up these countries!

As many of us eagerly count down to the next International G12 Conference in 2008, we trust that the lessons and testimonials at this year’s conference will go a long way towards encouraging you in your walk with God, in ministry and your work amongst the people who have yet to receive the gospel in your nation.

On several occasions during the conference sessions, God used the humility and the faith of the speakers to bring forth His word. Though they have had little time to prepare their testimonials and sermons, they put aside themselves and stirred the faith of those in attendance.

The sermon and testimonies given by Daniel and Priscilla Khong, two of Apostle Lawrence and Pastor Nina’s children, bear tremendous testimony to what the G12 vision has done on families.

For the first time this year, a special Men and Women session were arranged, and the Lord used the sessions to specifically encourage and minister to the delegates.

“It was good to come together as women and just to see that God has a plan for women as well. When Pastor Nina Khong shared, I got more encouraged that I can do all that kind of things too.” ~ Ruth Ulziikhuu, Christian Fellowship of Mongolia

As the conference drew to a close on Saturday night, 17 March, many delegates felt that they had received a deeper impression of what the G12 Vision is all about. For many who are in the vision, it was a timely encouragement.

“There is a lack of the fathering-mothering spirit in the church. There is also a need to get everyone involved in reaching out to the community and to consolidate those already in the church. G12 provides the remedy.” ~ Pastor Jasmine Ooi, Grace Assembly, Malaysia

The Lord also left a deep impression upon Apostle Lawrence Khong’s heart. As he leads FCBC to be a victorious warrior for Christ in this Year of Victory, God once again reaffirmed Apostle Khong’s ministry and life through Ezekiel 36:9-11,

"I am concerned for you and will look on you with favour; you will be plowed and sown, and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord."
