A Report from the 11th G12 Conference in Bogota, Colombia

Pastor Richard Ang was recently in Bogota to attend the 11 th G12 Conference along with Senior Pastor, Pastor Nina and others from the FCBC team. Here’s what he experienced.



It was a wonderful week experiencing a 'charged up' in the spirit man as we joined delegates from many nations like Argentina, Brazil, Spain, UK, USA and the host country Colombia at the 11 th G12 Conference held in Bogotá between 23 – 27 January.

The cup-shaped Coliseum was literally filled to the brim each night as close to 20,000 delegates and participants sung and danced in celebration of our Lord. Every session was charged with electrifying sounds from the live band and accompanied by well-executed and choreographed dances by the youths.

The theme of this year's conference was prophetic indeed. It declares that the year 2006 is a year "Bound for Conquest!" For those next few days, everyone at the conference was soaking in the words of the speakers as they shared about faith to conquer what God has blessed.

On the last day of the Conference, we convened at a park adjacent to a smaller stadium in the afternoon together with Ps Cesar's congregation. It was a combined Saturday service led by Ps Cesar and his wife Claudia. It was a lovely sight beholding this couple declaring their love for one another in front of thousands of people. It was in this same park years ago that Ps Cesar had declared his love for Claudia!

As usual in his fatherly ways, Ps Cesar spoke the word of faith into the lives of every listener. He shared with the crowd the story of Gideon in Judges, where God transformed a defeated man to a conqueror. He shared a testimony of how one of his 12 was transformed from a homeless vagrant to a Pastor. He also related another testimony about one of his 12 who was told he had 24 hours to live and yet is still alive today because he overcame death by a conquering faith.

Ps Cesar declares that God does not see us through the way our family or friends may see us. God sees in us as conquerors for Him! Our Lord Jesus is a great Conqueror himself! This is the hour and time for everyone to rise up and be a conqueror!

As I reflected on the time spent at the conference, I cannot helped but be filled by the same mountain-conquering faith that fills the Pastors, leaders and members of the church in Bogotá. Nothing is impossible for us as we believed God to disciple the multitudes, to influence and transform our society for the better, and to go and serve the nations that God has called us to bless.

It is indeed the hour and time to enter the battle in the spirit and to conquer by faith what God has deposited into our hearts and minds!
