FCBC Pastors in Bogota Conference

Five pastors from Faith Community Baptist Church travel to Bogota, Colombia, to attend the G12 Conference on 23 to 29 January 2006. The theme of the Conference is “Bound for Conquest”.

Among the FCBC pastors are the church’s senior pastor, Apostle Lawrence Khong, and his wife Rev (Dr) Nina Khong. Pastor Khong is one of Pastor Cesar Castellanos’ International 12.

The team will be spending the Lunar New Year in Bogota. Lunar New Year falls on 29 January 2006. For Pastor Khong, it would be like taking Reunion Dinner with his spiritual father. For his spiritual sons, Rev Melvyn Mak and Rev Richard Ong, it would be like spending Chinese New Year with father and grandfather.

It is a Lunar New Year tradition to gather all the generations of a family to have a special dinner together on the night before Lunar New Year Day; this is called the Reunion Dinner. The Chinese spend Lunar New Year Day visiting their relatives, starting with the eldest member of the family.

Please pray for the FCBC team attending the G12 Conference in Bogota:

• Pray for a greater level of anointing and understanding of the G12 Vision as they attend the Conference.

• Pray for a wonderful “reunion” as spiritual grandfather, father and sons spend time together in the midst of the Conference.
