G12 Mongolia Conference, Ulaanbataar Palace, Mongolia

The G12 Mongolia Conference was held in one of the largest indoor performing venues in Mongolia, the Ulaanbaatar Palace which has a sitting capacity of 3,000. Many attended the conference despite the fact that Christian work only began in Mongolia just over 20 years ago. More than half of the participating churches at the conference are led by Korean missionary pastors who have been stationed in Mongolia for more than a decade which also explained the high level of unity and camaraderie among the pastors who are serving in Mongolia.

A large proportion of the participants in the conference are youths. They were actively involved in various ministries such as worship, dance, usher, security, technical and support crew. Participants were engaged in vibrant worship and treated to cultural performances and special items led by youths.

During the conference, there was a deep spiritual hunger in the hearts of the people. Participants were immersed in worship, engaged during the messages and raised their voices in gusto during prayer. Even older participants were eager for God's touch and responded enthusiastically during altar call.

Although many Mongolians come across as being reserved, many young men participated actively and opened their hearts to the Lord during worship and ministry. They came forward to the altar and were openly crying and repenting of their sins and dedicating themselves afresh to the Lord's purpose.

Pastor Lee makes several trips a year helping the pastors in Mongolia realise and fulfill the G12 vision. He imparts from his encounters with Pastor Cesar Castellanos in Bogota, Colombia and Apostle Lawrence Khong and his FCBC team of pastors who had visited Jeju to help his church implement the G12 vision. Pastor Lee faithfully performs his duty as the G12 Mongolia coordinator on top of his responsibilities of being the senior pastor of a thriving church, the All Nations Church in Jeju, Korea. Six years into the G12 vision, his church grew from 210 members in 2005 to more than 1,000 members in 2011! This growth is remarkable as Jeju is widely known as the graveyard of missionaries with only 3% believers in a country that has about 30% professed Christians.

G12 Mongolia Organiser and Host
Pastor Oh Hyo Kang

The 2011 G12 Mongolia Conference was organised and hosted by Pastor Oh Hyo Kang from Uliastai Church, one of the fastest growing churches in Mongolia which embraced the G12 vision in December 2008. From a humble congregation of 120 people, they came together three years and five months later on April 14, 2011 to celebrate their 1728 convention.
