It's such a privilege for me to share what God is doing in Mongolia and in our church, Christian Fellowship of Mongolia.

Let me first share something about Mongolia. Mongolia was under communism for 70 years, until God opened the door in 1990. Then the gospel entered the country. Before that, there was no church and no Christians. Now there are over 200 churches, and there is much growth.

But being such new Christians in a pioneering situation, we do not have the experience of running a church. Even many of the missionaries do not have such an experience before they come to Mongolia. So it's hard to find somebody who can advise you in this matter. So you can imagine how thankful we are to have met FCBC! You have helped us so much! It's from you that we learned about leadership, vision, structure and training as well as many other things.

We have been learning from FCBC since 1999, starting with the cell church. At that time we had about 100 people in our churches. The cell structure really helped us to get organized and focused. Our churches grew. But still, there was something missing. We found that multiplying our cells so fast was difficult for relationships. Two years ago after attending the G12 conference I was so inspired, we then transitioned to the G12 structure right away. The thing that inspired me was the family, husband and wife, serving together, as well as being a spiritual father.

G12 has really helped me to become a spiritual father rather than just a leader. The long term relationships we didn't have in the cell system are now a blessing to me and our people. Today when people meet in church, they always hug - this is NOT the culture in Mongolia! My G12 sons call me "dad". In my family, I was finally able to answer my wife's question: "What is a pastor's wife's job in the cell system?"!

She started leading a women's G12 group for our lady leaders. This helps us to understand each other better, and now we stand together for our spiritual children. Our physical children have seen all this, and they wanted to start their own cell group. So my daughter started one last July on her 8th birthday by inviting all the neighbors’ kids to her party.

After transitioning to G12, all our 7 churches' memberships have all doubled within a year. We continue to hear many life-changing testimonies brought about by encounters at the cross. So in ending, I want to say: Thank you to FCBC for being obedient to the Lord  - even though it cost you much - and changing your structure from your old cell system to G12! You are such a blessing to Mongolia!
