Testimony from a G12
leader in
Faith Community Baptist Church, Singapore
I am illiterate and in my mid 60s. Before the G12 vision,
I used to stay home a lot to look after my two grandchildren.
In 2004, my spiritual mother asked me to be one of her 12.
About a month after that, I brought my very first person,
my best friend, to Christ during a church service.
In late 2004, I have another cell member when one of my G12
sisters introduced her to me and both of us accompanied her
to church and she accepted Christ. I now have two members.
By the time the G12 Conference starts, I will have three because
a new believer is going to join my cell.
I have my cell meetings at a hawker centre every alternate
Sunday. I conduct it in Mandarin. Two of my G12 sisters help
me in the cell meeting as I am still a young Christian (four-years-old),
and don’t know much about how to share the word of God.
I find that I am growing spiritually in this G12 vision. I
can now understand Sunday service sermons much better; my
mind is clearer and more alert. Life has become more meaningful
for me and I find that I can help people and visit them.
I have also become happier and I don't worry about things.
I learned to trust the Lord and surrender all my burdens to
Him.
