Testimony from a G12Youth Pastor, Fuk Lam Church, Hong Kong

I was a zone supervisor in my church. I once struggled in cell group development. According to cell church principles, as a zone supervisor, I have to lead my cells to grow and multiply more cells. But I couldn’t. I started to focus on my own needs. I found that I had many problems I couldn’t face.

Four years ago, I heard about the G12 vision and what God had done in Colombia. I felt so excited. At that time, my senior pastor, Rev. Samuel Lai, wanted to lead the church in transiting to G12 vision. He went to Singapore to learn about the G12 vision from Faith Community Baptist Church.

My heart was full of excitement about this vision. However, God challenged me that I had to face my financial problem. This problem has been hidden for nine years. During my prayer time, God told me that He would give me many spiritual sons and daughters after I face my problems. I struggled for a week, then I decided to follow God’s voice.

A year later, God gave me a vision to plant a brand new, strong mega-church in Hong Kong. After talking with my senior pastor, he sent me to plant this church as a G12 experiment. I thank God that He is a good God. His faithfulness makes this church grow to over 150 youths from one cell.

I found that the G12 vision allowed me to experience three blessings. Firstly, God promises me that I will have many spiritual sons and daughters. I can see His work in this church. In 2006, our goal is to grow to 400 members. I trust that God will lead us to grow into a mega-church, with over 10,000 members after 10 years.

Secondly, God blesses me financially. My loan has been paid off in the last two years. That is how I can now bless my spiritual sons and daughters by buying books to feed them. The G12 vision leads me to seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness first (Matt. 6:33). I don’t focus on my needs now; because God provides.

Finally, God blesses my relationship with my father and my heavenly father. The G12 vision helps me know the importance of LOVE in these relationships. I learnt it in my G12 group and used it in my family. And God healed the relationship between my father and me. Also, I feel more love from God than before. I am his beloved one. God loves me. He loves to give me protection, mercy, grace, happiness, finance, health and healthy relations.

Through the G12 vision, God has changed me to a person who has dreams, visions and gifts. Praise the Lord! Let’s experience His amazing love.
